    Aerospace Recruiter

Full Desk Recruiter | Aerospace Manufacturing & MRO

Build Relationships. Drive Business. Recruit the Talent That Keeps Aerospace Moving.

You know that moment when a client says, “We need an A&P who can be productive on day one,” or “We need a 5-axis machinist who lives in aerospace tolerances”? And you already have names in mind. If you love the chase, speak the language of aerospace, and want a desk you can grow like a business—this role is built for you.

At Graham Personnel Services, we're looking for an experienced Aerospace Recruiter to grow and manage a specialized recruiting desk focused on Aerospace Manufacturing and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul). This is not a role where you'll simply fill orders. You'll partner directly with aerospace manufacturers, repair stations, and suppliers while building a network of highly skilled professionals who keep the industry moving.

If you're energized by business development, recruiting top talent, and creating long-term partnerships, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

    What You'll Do

Client Development (You build the relationships)

    • Build and grow a book of business with aerospace OEMs, MRO/repair stations, manufacturers, and Tier suppliers—becoming the first call when a critical req opens.
    • Earn trust with decision-makers and run strong intakes (shift, tooling, programs, certs, quality expectations, ITAR/clearance constraints) so you can deliver what the job actually requires.
    • Negotiate terms, manage expectations, and keep the process moving—because in aerospace, speed matters and precision matters.

Recruiting & Talent Delivery (You find the needle in the hangar)

    • Source, vet, and place hard-to-find aerospace talent across manufacturing and MRO—machinists, inspectors, mechanics, engineers, planners, and leaders.
    • Run proactive outreach and own the lifecycle end-to-end: sourcing → screening → submission → interview coordination → offer → acceptance → post-start follow-up.
    • Recruit inside regulated environments: ITAR/export-controlled work, FAA/Part 145 contexts, and quality-driven standards (AS9100/AS9102, when applicable).
    Sourcing keywords you should know
    A&P, avionics, sheet metal/structures, composites, CNC (3–5 axis), GD&T, CMM, AS9100/AS9102 (FAI), NDT/NDI, planning/scheduling, supplier quality, ITAR/export-controlled environments.

    What success looks like
    • Clients call you first because you bring options—not noise—and you can explain why the shortlist fits.
    • You maintain a real pipeline (mapped targets, warm relationships, and passive talent ready for the next req).
    • Your process is clean—fast feedback loops, accurate notes, and no surprises.

    What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is curious, driven, relationship-focused, and excited by the challenge of finding hard-to-find talent.

    Preferred Qualifications

      • Associate or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in recruiting/staffing, or an appropriate combination of education and experience, with exposure to aerospace manufacturing and/or MRO (full-desk is a plus).
      • Comfortable with business development: targeted outreach, consultative conversations, and asking for the next step.
      • You can qualify technical requirements quickly (certs, special processes, quality standards, regulated environments like ITAR/FAA).
      • Modern sourcing mindset: you use AI/Copilot responsibly to speed up research, draft outreach, summarize notes, and keep your pipeline organized—without losing the human touch.
      • Experience with ITAR/export-controlled or clearance-adjacent hiring, and staffing across multiple shifts/operations (work authorization)
      • High follow-through: you run tight processes, communicate clearly, and close loops.
      • Preferred: Existing relationships in aerospace OEM, MRO, or supplier networks
    Skills (Tools/Tech)
    • ATS/CRM + productivity tools (email/calendar, spreadsheets, Teams/Zoom) to manage a fast-moving desk
