This is an hourly position with Local 475.Rate of pay is $33.52/hrHours are 3:00pm- 11:00pm daily with weekends as needed
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work from sketches, schematics, and simple prints with minimal supervision.
Must be able to perform repair jobs such as changing oil in pumps and machine overhauls. Housekeeping and daily checks are necessaryMust have working knowledge and experience in the following trades:
PlumbingHeating, ventilation and air conditioningElectric power and controlsGas furnace operation, repair and controlCarpentry and paintingVacuum SystemsDust Collection Systems
Must have knowledge of welding and brazing.Must understand the principle of operations and repairs of heat treat equipment.Forklift experience preferredMust be comfortable operating a scissor lift
QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma or equivalent requiredMust be fluent in English, (speaking, reading, writing)Manufacturing experience preferred
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum lift floor to waist- 25 poundsMinimum lift waist to shoulder level- 25 poundsMinimum pull- 40 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moderate cold and moderate heat, loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment in the production floor environment.
