    Description

    Aerospace Layup Technician

    1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM & Friday 6AM-10AM
    Location: 2700 S Custer Ave, Wichita, KS 67217

    Job Description:

    The Aerospace Layup Technician will be responsible for performing layup of composite materials on aircraft parts and assemblies. The technician will work with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that all parts are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform layup of composite materials on aircraft parts and assemblies
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
    • Prepare molds and tooling for layup
    • Operate and maintain layup equipment and tools
    • Perform quality checks on finished parts and assemblies
    • Document work performed and maintain accurate records
    • Adhere to all safety and quality standards

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience with composite layup in an aerospace manufacturing environment
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
    • Experience with composite tooling and molds
    • Ability to operate and maintain layup equipment and tools
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
