Your Impact
- Produce high-quality welds on aerospace assemblies using TIG as your primary process and MIG as required.
- Decode drawings and specifications to plan and execute precise weld procedures.
- Verify weld integrity through inspections and testing to meet applicable standards.
- Upkeep a clean, safe station and follow all safety guidelines without compromise.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and teammates to remove roadblocks and optimize results.
- Document your work thoroughly to maintain complete, accurate traceability.
- Advance your technique and expand your understanding of aerospace materials.
What It Takes
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical welding certification preferred.
- Proven aerospace (or related) welding background.
- Deep knowledge of welding methods, materials, and safety practices.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings with precision.
- Impeccable attention to detail and dedication to quality.
- Problem-solving mindset; comfortable working solo or with a team.
- Flexibility for variable hours and overtime when needed.
- Ability to certify to D17.1 and D1.2.
