Step into Precision: A Day in This Role

Picture your day in a precision metals shop in Austin, Texas. You start your shift reviewing the parts queue, carefully deburring edges and buffing/polishing surfaces to aerospace-quality standards. As jobs move through the line, you jump in to operate shop machines, wash and clean parts, and lend a hand with general shop duties. Later in the shift, you may support orbital welding setups and tube bending tasks, always keeping accuracy, pace, and safety at the forefront.

Schedule & Terms

• Day and Swing shifts available, Monday–Friday
• Days: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Swings: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Long-term temporary opportunity

What You'll Do

• Deburr parts with a quality-first mindset
• Buff and polish materials to spec
• Operate machines in the shop as directed
• Wash and clean parts before/after processing
• Assist with general shop duties as needed
• Support orbital welding tasks
• Assist with tube bending work

• Willingness to learn and take direction

Preferred Background

• Deburring experience
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments
