Senior Technician (T3) Test Engineering
Burnsville, Minnesota
Onsite - 1st Shift, 5/40
$44.95/hr.
Position Summary: Senior Technician (T3) Test Engineering
- Support production as a member of the Sensors Test Engineering team.
- Lead the build and assembly of test solutions supporting commercial and defense sensor products.
- Work with test solutions at various stages of their lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical test equipment issues.
- Build and assemble test hardware, including cables, valve boxes, control boxes, and interface boxes, using engineering drawings.
- Build and assemble test solutions used in production environments.
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment and device issues on the production line.
- Create and review test system designs and documentation with engineering teams.
- Update drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and classifications.
- Provide markups for new and existing test hardware.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and technicians.
- Mentor, coach, and review the work of technical support employees.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Associate degree (AA/AS) or other two-year post-high school training.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience building complex cable assemblies, test boxes, and test systems for the aviation industry.
- Experience working with military specifications and AS9100 environments.
- Ability to review and edit engineering schematics and wire lists.
- Knowledge of Minnesota State Electrical codes and statutes.
- Proficiency with tools, testing equipment, soldering, and crimping (hand, electric, and pneumatic).
- Strong communication and mentorship skills.
