Rate range $50-60.00/hr
Duties:

As an Aerospace Engineer III, you will lead complex engineering projects, providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers. You will play a critical role in the innovation and development of advanced aerospace systems.
Lead the design and development of advanced aerospace components and systems.
Conduct and oversee extensive analysis and testing.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Review and approve technical documentation and reports.
Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Skills:
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
6+ years of relevant experience.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using tools such as StarCCM+.
Experience developing aircraft aerodynamic databases.
Experience with heat transfer analysis.
Experience with aircraft component loads.
Experience with aircraft performance analysis.
Experience with wind tunnel and aircraft flight test.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
Experience with aircraft static stability analysis.
Experience with store separation or 6DOF analysis.
Familiarity with high-performance computing and Linux platforms.
Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, fundamentals of flight mechanics.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

6+ years of relevant experience.
