Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aerospace Engineer to design, develop, test, and support aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, missiles, and related aerospace systems.
The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles to improve performance, safety, reliability, and efficiency while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and develop aerospace systems, components, and structures.
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and modeling to evaluate system performance.
Conduct testing, validation, and verification of aerospace products and prototypes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and systems engineers.
Develop technical specifications, engineering drawings, reports, and documentation.
Analyze test data and recommend design improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
Ensure designs comply with applicable aerospace regulations, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Support manufacturing, assembly, integration, and production activities.
Investigate engineering issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and project planning activities.
Stay current with emerging aerospace technologies, materials, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Strong understanding of aerodynamics, propulsion, structural analysis, flight mechanics, and aerospace materials.
Proficiency with any CAD software (e.g., Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX) and engineering analysis tools.
Experience with simulation and modeling software such as MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, or similar.
Knowledge of engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure.
Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, defense, or satellite systems.
Familiarity with systems engineering, finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Knowledge of FAA, NASA, DoD, or international aerospace standards.
Experience with configuration management and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
