Why This Role Matters
Your inspections protect performance and safety. You will:
- Conduct first piece, in‑process, and final inspections, including first article inspections, aligned to stringent quality assurance standards.
- Complete quality records thoroughly: non‑conforming material, travelers, and control charts.
- Generate and archive electronic inspection reports using customer drawings and specifications.
- Follow blueprints, travelers, work instructions, process specifications, sketches, and verbal direction to complete diverse inspection tasks.
- Confirm all inspection equipment, machines, and tools are calibrated to company standards.

- Work alongside experts in aerospace quality (AS9100, AS9102, ASTM’s).
- Develop depth in Zeiss CMM operation and Calypso programming.
- Advance your mastery of GD&T and complex blueprint interpretation.
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or GED (technical school/manufacturing technology and/or ASQ inspector certification is a plus).
- Strong GD&T knowledge; able to interpret machining and fabrication drawings with precision.
- Proficiency with MS Windows tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MRP systems.
- High attention to detail, advanced shop math; trigonometry ability is a plus.
- Experience programming/operating Zeiss CMM using Calypso is a plus.
- Understanding of aerospace requirements (AS9100, AS9102, ASTM’s) is preferred.
- Meet the requirements under ITAR – U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
