Your Day, Building What Flies
Step onto the floor and take ownership of aerospace components from setup through final pass. You’ll run complex CNC mills—both 3-axis and 5-axis—independently, translate engineering intent from drawings into precision metal, and leave every shift knowing the parts you finished will be trusted in the air.
What You'll Do
- Independently set up, dial in, and operate CNC vertical milling centers (3-axis and 5-axis) to exacting aerospace tolerances.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to achieve precise specifications.
- Load and adjust tool and work offsets; edit programs and fine-tune parameters at the machine control when needed.
- Verify features in-process using precision gauges including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Troubleshoot issues on the fly and perform basic preventive maintenance to keep machines production-ready.
- Keep your station orderly and safe—cleanliness and organization are part of your craft.
What You Bring
- 3+ years hands-on CNC milling experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis equipment.
- Proven ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances consistently.
- Strong shop math, outstanding attention to detail, and pride in workmanship.
- Familiarity with common controls such as Fanuc, Fidia C20, Siemens, Haas (or comparable).
- Working knowledge of CNC programming fundamentals, including G-code and M-code.
