Description
The Leidos National Solutions Division has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Aeronautical Information Specialist to assist with the acquisition, logging, and distribution of aeronautical source information embedded with our NGA customer at their facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role supports daily source capture and distribution requirements working with the Aeronautical Source Branch. Responsibilities include processing aeronautical information from FAA, DOW, and foreign entities and logging/distributing it appropriately through government and leidos systems, while adhering to strict time constraints dictated by the 28 day AIRAC cycle.
Basic Qualifications:
Must possess TS/SCI clearance
College degree in an aviation related discipline and 2+ years relevant work experience. OR 4+ years experience in lieu of degree.
Must have experience with Aeronautical Information Publications, FLIP, aeronautical charts, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and FTP
Prior experience as a government contractor is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Pay Range:
Pay Range $52,000.00 - $94,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
