    KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Intern for our Advisory practice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide the technical connection between project managers and developers by clearly communicating business functional issues to clients and internal staff
    • Conduct business process and requirements analysis and advise clients on key architectural decisions concerning the platform and the supporting technologies
    • Support the development of requirements, business process definition, testing processes, internal controls, project communications, training and organizational change management
    • Develop client-ready deliverables related to requirement specification, process analysis, system-based and manual controls, functional design and test plans
    • Understand and proactively manage risks to protect the business and minimize impact of disruptions by identifying and communicating findings to senior management and client personnel

    Qualifications:

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors or Masters degree in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Systems or IT related Engineering, Business Analytics or equivalent program from an accredited college or university

    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above

    • Applicant must be eligible for or possess a U.S. Government Security clearance

    • Demonstrated quality service mindset and understanding of how IT organizations operate and knowledge of tools used for managing IT processes

    • Knowledge of systems development life cycle processes (Agile) preferred

    • Strong in technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility skills; demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership approach, in a dynamic, evolving environment

    • Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications used by our clients

    • Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills, with the ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity

    • Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership

    • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
