Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support and advance a growing cloud and infrastructure environment with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. This role will be responsible for cloud engineering, cloud operations, infrastructure administration, platform reliability, and strategic technology initiatives across both cloud and datacenter environments.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can operate across cloud infrastructure, networking, server administration, and Site Reliability Engineering functions. You will play a key role in designing solutions, optimizing cloud operations, improving reliability, and helping drive the organization's transition toward modern cloud-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor Azure cloud and server infrastructure environments to ensure performance, availability, and scalability
Administer cloud capacity planning, resource utilization, and cost management across enterprise platforms
Design, configure, and support Azure cloud solutions for critical business applications
Lead infrastructure and cloud architecture initiatives supporting strategic projects and modernization efforts
Implement backup, recovery, retention, and operational governance processes across cloud and datacenter environments
Monitor infrastructure health through cloud native monitoring tools and enterprise monitoring platforms
Research emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost optimization
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and global stakeholders to support cloud operations, infrastructure standards, and strategic initiatives
Key Requirements
10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure operations, server administration, and enterprise technology environments
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services, administration, security, and operational best practices
Experience supporting cloud networking, connectivity, virtual networks, firewalls, DNS, routing, and hybrid infrastructure solutions
Experience managing Windows server environments, middleware platforms, and enterprise operational systems
Proven experience with infrastructure monitoring, performance management, capacity planning, and Site Reliability Engineering practices
Experience supporting cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives
Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ 900, AZ 104, AZ 400, SC 900, DP 900, or AI 900 are highly preferred
Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS cloud environments
Knowledge of cloud governance, audit compliance, and risk management practices
Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, VMware monitoring solutions, or cloud native observability platforms
Experience developing cloud operational standards, policies, and best practices
Ability to mentor team members, coordinate project activities, and drive technical initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Four days onsite and one day remote each week

Compensation up to $135,000 annually based on experience
