    Advancement Manager



    Position Overview


    We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Advancement Services Manager to support fundraising, stewardship, and constituent engagement initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in managing advancement operations, donor and constituent data, gift processing, prospect research, reporting, and stewardship activities that help drive philanthropic success.


    The Advancement Services Manager serves as a key member of the Advancement team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of fundraising data while providing analytical and operational support that strengthens donor relationships and advances organizational goals.


    Responsibilities:


    Advancement Services & Database Management



    • Manage and maintain advancement databases, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.

    • Oversee all gift processing activities, including timely entry, acknowledgment, and tracking of donations within Raiser's Edge NXT.

    • Generate reports, donor lists, and data segments to support fundraising campaigns, events, volunteer engagement, and annual giving initiatives.

    • Partner closely with the Finance/Business Office on gift reconciliation, reporting, pledge tracking, and fund creation.


    Prospect Research & Development Support



    • Conduct proactive research to identify major gift, planned giving, and leadership annual fund prospects.

    • Prepare prospect profiles, briefing materials, and donor meeting documentation.

    • Develop forecasting reports and provide analysis on fundraising opportunities, donor pipelines, and portfolio performance.


    Donor Stewardship & Engagement



    • Coordinate the production of annual reports, donor impact reports, and endowment reports.

    • Manage stewardship activities and recognition programs to ensure meaningful donor engagement.

    • Assist with donor proposals, gift agreements, and gift intention documentation.


    Reporting & Strategic Analysis



    • Create dashboards, reports, and fundraising analyses to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking.

    • Provide operational and project support to senior advancement leadership.

    • Recommend and implement process improvements, policies, and procedures that enhance Advancement Office effectiveness.


    Qualifications:


    Required



    • Bachelor's degree.

    • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Advanced experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, including queries, reporting, imports, prospect management, and database administration.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

    • Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.


    Preferred



    • Experience working in an independent school, higher education, nonprofit, or fundraising environment.

    • Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT and/or ResearchPoint.

    • Knowledge of fundraising operations, donor relations, and prospect research best practices.
