Hours/working pattern: : 33.75 hrs GTA worked Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 3:45 pm (to include lunch time cover), term time only plus training days.

About the Role

The role involves working directly with children to support and develop their learning, confidence and understanding of the curriculum, themselves and the wider world. Working closely with the class teacher, you will play an active role in creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment in which every child is supported to achieve their very best. You will also be giving the responsibility of leading our outdoor play.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Be committed, reliable and enthusiastic, with a willingness to embrace challenge
• Have high aspirations for both themselves and the children they work with
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for learning and a desire to inspire this in others
• Have a good standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional outlook
• Show a clear commitment to developing as an effective teaching assistant
