W2 Hourly Long-Term Contract to hire 

$50.00 - $59.50 per hour with limited benefits

No C2C, No 1099, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors

**SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED*** 

We are seeking a Secret ClearedSystems Engineer to be responsible for the system engineering and functional design of the system under development, addressing topics such as payload integration, weapon launch interlocks, weapon simulation, message exchanges, user interfaces, and cybersecurity.  As a member of the system engineering team, the candidate will help ensure functional and technical specifications and standards are complete and accurate, delivered as required to support customer review and approval, to support system development and test.

Requirements and Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. 
• At least 5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably defense related
• Experience with computer system architectures, cybersecurity, Linux or embedded operating systems
• Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
• Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
• Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
