Position Summary:
The APP functioning within OBED in the hospital setting works in collaboration with and is an integral part of the Obstetrical team. The APP on service will manage patients registered with OBED. Candidate should have a strong Labor and Delivery foundation in evidence-based practice and education including fetal monitoring. The APP should demonstrate an advanced level of Obstetrical knowledge, clinical and technical competencies and sound clinical judgement. Additional requirements include, outstanding communication skills and timely compliant documentation and responsibility for ongoing professional education.
Position Qualification:
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing if APRN, MSN , DNP or Master's in Physician Assistant Services.
