Advanced Practice Provider - Ortho-Shoulder & Elbow

Responsibilities will include independent outpatient evaluation and management of new and established patients, pre- and postoperative care, patient education, coordination of care, and support of the surgical practice. The APP will work collaboratively with the Shoulder & Elbow surgeon and multidisciplinary orthopaedic team to provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of shoulder and elbow conditions.

Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

 

The Bone & Joint Institute at Cooper University Health Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Shoulder & Elbow service.

The APP will work collaboratively with the Shoulder & Elbow surgeon and multidisciplinary orthopaedic team to provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of shoulder and elbow conditions. Responsibilities will include independent outpatient evaluation and management of new and established patients, pre- and postoperative care, patient education, coordination of care, and support of the surgical practice.

 

This position offers the opportunity to work within a growing subspecialty practice as part of Cooper’s expanding Bone & Joint Institute. Orthopaedic experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and an interest in musculoskeletal care.

Experience Required:

Orthopedic experience is highly preferred.

Education Requirements:

Master’s Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree is required.

License/Certification Requirements:

License (or Certification: NJ-Advanced Practice Nurse/Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant - NCCPA required. American Heart Association BLS;
