Witham Health Services is seeking an experienced Acute Care Hospitalist APP to join our inpatient team in Lebanon, Indiana. This full-time position provides comprehensive care to hospitalized patients on a 26 bed Med Surg unit while working collaboratively with physicians, nursing, and the interdisciplinary care team.

This opportunity offers a consistent 7 days on / 14 days off schedule and the opportunity to manage a diverse inpatient population in a supportive community hospital environment. The APP will play an integral role in coordinating patient care from admission through discharge while working closely with the hospitalist team.

About the Position

• Inpatient hospitalist APP position
• Coverage of a 26 bed Med Surg unit

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts
• Comprehensive inpatient care including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Manage acute and chronic conditions in the hospitalized patient
• Work collaboratively with hospitalists, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support continuity of care and safe, efficient patient discharges
• Specialty consultation readily available through Witham's employed medical staff

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current, unrestricted Indiana license
• National board certification in the appropriate advanced practice specialty
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care clinical experience
• Eligible for prescriptive authority in Indiana
• Strong clinical assessment and critical decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff
• Ability to provide high-quality care to medically complex hospitalized patients
