    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our Oncology team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in Survivorship care and will work collaboratively under the supervision of multiple Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct comprehensive survivorship assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.

    Develop, implement and regularly update individualized survivorship care plans following completion of cancer treatment.

    Summarize treatment history (including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy) and outline follow-up care

    Coordinate transition from active oncology care to long-term survivorship.

    Monitor for cancer recurrence and secondary malignancies

    Oder and interpret appropriate surveillance labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests.

    Identify and manage late and long-term effects of cancer and its treatment, including referral to rehabilitation, specialty services, or supportive therapies as needed.

    Screen patients for psychosocial or emotional impacts and provide counseling and referrals as needed.

    Counsel survivors on health promotion, disease prevention, and age/risk appropriate screenings and vaccinations

    Provide patient and caregiver education.

    Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practice standards.

    Qualifications:

    Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program

    National Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) OR national board certification as a Physician Assistant.

    Current Physician Assistant or APRN license in the State of Florida.

    AOCNP Certification

    BLS/ACLS

    Preferred Skills:

    2 years of Oncology Experience

    Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record
