Role Summary: Reporting to the Director of Automation, the Advanced Motion and Robotics Business Manager will lead the development and execution of the Advanced Motion and Robotics business plans, including market assessment, strategic planning, pipeline development, opportunity management, and revenue growth. Key responsibilities include identifying the available market opportunity, developing and executing commercial growth strategies, creating and managing a targeted customer funnel, tracking sales opportunities, and driving successful sales outcomes.
The Advanced Motion and Robotics Business Manager will build and cultivate a strong ecosystem of technology partners, OEMs, system integrators, and complementary solution providers while leading a team of sales and technical professionals who support customers through solution design, application sizing, quoting, technical consultation, and sales execution. Serving as the primary liaison between Kendall Electric, Rockwell Automation, and other strategic partners, this role will align go-to-market strategies, lead ongoing business reviews, and provide visibility into sales performance, pipeline development, key opportunities, market trends, and support needs to maximize customer value and accelerate business growth. Reporting to this manager are the Advanced Motion and Robotics team members.

Lead the development and execution of sales and growth strategies for Robotics, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and Advanced Motion products and solutions across assigned territories
Develop annual growth plans, sales and profitability targets, market priorities, and investment recommendations to achieve business objectives
Build and manage a targeted sales pipeline within Kendall Electric's CRM platform, ensuring accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, sales visibility, and accountability
Use CRM data, sales metrics, market intelligence, and competitive insights to prioritize resources, identify growth opportunities, and improve business performance
Lead and develop sales and technical resources responsible for customer engagement, solution design, application sizing, quoting, and sales execution
Collaborate with account managers and sales teams to identify customer needs, create opportunities, communicate business value, and close business
Serve as a senior sales leader and subject matter expert, providing direct customer engagement and leadership on strategic opportunities while supporting account managers and sales teams in the pursuit and closure of complex business opportunities.
Develop and expand an ecosystem of technology partners, OEMs, system integrators, and complementary solution providers to strengthen Kendall Electric's Advanced Motion offering and delivery capabilities
Partner with Kendall Electric's marketing team to execute go-to-market, customer awareness, engagement, and lead-generation initiatives
Lead quarterly business reviews with Kendall Electric, Rockwell Automation, and strategic partners to evaluate performance, pipeline, growth initiatives, and support needs
Build internal and customer competency around emerging technologies while creating strategies to attach additional Kendall Group products, services, and lifecycle offerings
Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need:
Work Experience: 5 years of experience in business development, product management, or market development roles, including the use of CRM tools for pipeline management, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and sales execution; 2 years of experience leading and developing sales and/or technical professionals, with demonstrated ability to achieve results through others and across cross-functional teams; working knowledge of industrial automation and motion control technologies and their application within customer environments; demonstrated experience developing and executing business growth strategies, including market assessment, pipeline development, opportunity management, and sales execution; demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with customers, technology partners, OEMs, system integrators, and other strategic partners; strong business and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate market opportunities, analyze sales performance, and translate data into actionable business strategies
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
Analytics/Computer Skills: Prior experience working with Microsoft Office, proficiency with MS Excel
Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in fast-paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment
Cross-functional skills: Strong business and commercial leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop growth strategies, lead market initiatives, manage pipelines and forecasts, drive accountability, and deliver measurable business results through collaboration across sales, marketing, operations, and supplier organizations
Communication Skills: Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and guide team members when required; inspire, influence, lead and communicate across a diverse team not under direct management; effective presentation skills in both small and large group settings
