    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assemble, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical, vacuum, and precision mechanical and optical assemblies.
    • Identify, document, and escalate build issues, deviations, or nonconformances.
    • Troubleshoot and repair returned components.
    • Collaborate with instrumentation and engineering teams to improve build processes and manufacturability.
    • Support prototype, pilot, and low-volume production builds.
    • Maintain accurate build records, test results, and documentation in accordance with quality systems.
    • Maintain clean lab work stations in accordance with 5S
    • Follow safety procedures and cleanroom protocols where applicable.
    • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Department Manager.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school education or equivalent.
    • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
    • Hands-on experience with precision tools, fixtures, and measurement equipment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree or technical certification in engineering technology, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Experience assembling analytical, semiconductor, optical, or vacuum-based equipment.
    • Familiarity with cleanroom practices and contamination control.
    • Experience supporting prototype or R&D manufacturing environments.
    • Exposure to ISO-based quality systems.
