What you’ll tackle
- Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and CNC machines to produce parts to spec.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and detailed job specs to determine the best machining approach.
- Monitor operations, verify dimensions, and adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to ensure consistent quality.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to keep production on track.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with company protocols.
- Partner with teammates to identify process improvements and enhance throughput.
- Accurately log production data and maintain clear records of work performed.
What sets you up for success
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional machining coursework or certification is advantageous.
- Proven background in machining with solid process understanding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints with confidence.
- Experience with CNC operation and programming is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Resourceful problem-solver; effective both independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and best practices.
