Description

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II, here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. You will report directly to our Engineering Director, and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location onsite.

In this role, you will impact our manufacturing processes by optimizing production workflows and driving continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality in our operations. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as machining and CMM inspection.
  • Knowledge of industry specifications such as AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.
  • Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.
  • Familiar with NX or similar CAD software.

WE VALUE

  • Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), IE (Industrial Engineer) or Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Experience in driving process improvements and achieving results.

  • Experience with milling, turning, grinding and honing manufacturing processes.

The annual base salary range for this position is $97,750 - $147,200. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
