Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking to add an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join the team at the Baptist Health Heart Failure and Transplant Institute. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the largest hospital system in Arkansas, with twelve hospitals, including the flagship 827-bed facility in Little Rock.

The Baptist Health Heart Failure and Transplant Institute, established in 2010, is Arkansas first and only center focused exclusively on advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support (MCS), and transplant. As the only adult heart-transplant provider in the state, the institute has performed 361 heart transplants to date and is following over 200 post-transplant patients. We have also implanted over 561 patients with a HeartMate device and are following over 200 VAD patients.
The program recently launched the first formal statewide Shock/ECMO program, averaging over 100ECMO cases annually. There is a 12-bed ECMO unit.
