The Advanced Engineering Mechanic II role involves testing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a large healthcare facility in the Pacific Northwest. The candidate will perform maintenance rounds, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs with minimal supervision to ensure safety and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe environment, servicing and repairing MEP equipment, troubleshooting system problems, completing preventive maintenance, managing technical manuals, ordering parts, ensuring code compliance, and coordinating with external contractors.
Qualifications require at least 5 years of maintenance experience in a large healthcare setting, proficiency in relevant skills, strong troubleshooting ability, physical capability, and flexibility. Education requires a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license is mandatory, with preferred certifications such as Certified Healthcare Mechanic, C-10, or related licenses.
