How you’ll contribute

• Prepare molds, tools, and workstations; perform composite layup per drawings and specifications.
• Complete secondary bonding operations using epoxies and resins.
• Set up and execute vacuum bagging to ensure proper consolidation and cure.
• Trim and cut parts to exact tolerances that align with development/engineering goals.
• Drill and finish holes using hand drills and related equipment to drawing requirements.
• Employ jigs, fixtures, and molds to build accurate, repeatable assemblies.
• Handle materials, resins, and adhesives safely; keep your area clean and organized.
• Perform inspections and tests; record and communicate discrepancies per procedure.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and teammates to improve processes and quality.

What you’ll need

• Fluency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Working knowledge of composite materials, resin systems, and adhesive techniques.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
• Keen attention to detail; dexterity with small components and tools.
• Ability to work in PPE‑required environments.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) required.
• Technical or vocational training in composites or aerospace manufacturing preferred.

Imagine your first week

You’ll shadow a seasoned technician as you learn our tooling, layup techniques, and vacuum bagging standards. By mid‑week, you’ll be trimming and drilling your first set of parts to drawing, logging inspection results, and teaming up with engineering to fine‑tune a fixture—hands‑on from day one, with quality as your north star.
