What you will do
- Set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and mill‑turn machines for complex components
- Read drawings and 3D models, apply GD&T, and hold tight tolerances
- Review and validate CNC programs in Mastercam and NCSimul prior to production
- Use Renishaw probing/tool-setting to speed setups and verify features
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and drive improvements in setups, cycle times, and part quality
- Record accurate work order data and process notes in ProShop ERP
What you bring
- 5–10 years in machining environments
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Programming, Drafting, or related area
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks for 3D model comprehension
- Strong blueprint/GD&T skills and methodical mechanical problem-solving
- Depth in CNC setup and complex machining operations
- Familiarity with ERP platforms and Microsoft Office
