Advanced CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist II

Impact the moment you arrive
- Own end‑to‑end machining: setup, prove‑out, production runs, and preventative maintenance.
- Translate prints into perfect parts; inspect and deburr to hold tight tolerances.
- Preset tools and stage the next job to shrink changeovers.
- Maintain visual controls, sustain a clean, safe cell, and implement robust countermeasures.
- Lead improvement: SMED, Kaizen events, and 5 Whys are part of your weekly rhythm.
- Quickly surface and resolve equipment abnormalities.
- Be the voice for safety—follow procedures and call out risks to protect people and property.
Role details
- Location: Alsip, IL
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM
- Pay: $27.51–$31.24 per hour
- 2nd Shift Differential: +$1.35/hour
- Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000.00 (Payment details at time of offer)
What you need to succeed
- 3+ years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience
- Fluency with CNC Tooling, CNC Programming, G‑Code, M‑Code, and CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
Machines you’ll run
- CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC)
- CNC Lathe (2–4 axis)
