If you thrive on turning travelers and drawings into precise, repeatable CNC runs—and you’re comfortable tweaking code to hit spec—this role is for you. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll operate within our Manufacturing organization to keep parts flowing, quality tight, and continuous improvement front and center.
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non Exempt
What challenge will you tackle first?
- Dial in a setup using travelers, prints, and specifications—then retrieve, edit, and execute CNC programs to launch production.
- Run parts to quality requirements, performing in-process checks and verifying results before submitting to final inspection.
- Log accurate job data in the E2 management system to support scheduling, traceability, and cost objectives.
- Keep machines production-ready: clean equipment, maintain proper fluid levels, and return all fixtures/tooling when the job wraps.
- Jump onto non-CNC tasks as needed (handwork, inspections, saw cutting, or other shop equipment).
- Spot setup-reduction or Lean opportunities and share them with the appropriate 6S team lead.
- Communicate early with your supervisor about issues and cost-impacting risks or opportunities.

- Blueprint and technical document comprehension aligned with CNC operation.

- Organization and time management to juggle competing priorities.
- Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CNC program formats and confident editing.
- Skill with inspection gauges.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Background
- 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
