Developing and applying computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems, the Advanced CAD Specialist will have the opportunity to help our nations heroes make a true impact. Youll create new and/or revise existing designs, drawings, and bills of material for our products. Well depend on you to lead or contribute as an individual technical contributor on a small design or test team. Youll provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelors degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Specialist in the use of the strategic CAD and file management tools (Pro-E/Creo or Solid Works preferred)
  • Accomplished at developing/integrating new ideas, optimizing alternatives, and establishing backup plans
  • Competent in all aspects of respective design domain, mechanical design, part fabrication and assembly of electronics
