    Description

    Join WVU Medicines Level IV Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and help advance epilepsy care, education, and research in Morgantown, West Virginia.  The successful candidate will join the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and Department of Neurology, providing specialized patient care while teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. You will also collaborate with physicians, scientists, and other specialists across the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute.

    The WVU Department of Neurology provides comprehensive, interdisciplinary care for patients with:

    • Sleep disorders
    • Neurologic cancers

    WVU Medicine is home to both a Joint Commission-approved Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level IV Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.

    Qualifications

    • Hold an MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent
    • Be eligible for medical licensure in West Virginia
    • Have completed an accredited neurology residency program
    • Have completed an epilepsy or neurophysiology fellowship program
    • Be board certified or board eligible in neurology and epilepsy or neurophysiology
    • All required qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
