Old Colony has created a grant-funded position for an independent contractor to serve as our Adult Education Program Manager who will work from August of 2026 through July of 2027. The Adult Education Program Manager will oversee CTI programs while simultaneously developing a program of offerings for our Adult Education expansion. This position will pay $60 an hour for a total of 500 hours. A qualified candidate should have knowledge of the CTI Program offered through the Commonwealth Corporation, must be extremely well organized, and a must be a strong communicator (both verbally and in writing).

The Adult Education Program Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • establishment and oversight of all Adult Education Programs including, but not limited to, recruitment, retention, budgeting, review, reporting, and more
  • the ability to market, manage, and organize grant-related data in collaboration with MassHire and the Old Colony Administrative Team
  • organization and support of a night-time staff when courses begin
  • reporting of all program related data using Apricot SaaS system (with an Assistant) provided by Commonwealth Corporation (Training is available)
  • expansion of Adult Programming offerings
  • collaboration with other Adult Education and CTI network members for professional development purposes
  • any additional duties assigned by the Superintendent-Director
