Job Summary The primary purpose of the full-time Adult Education Instructor is to provide instruction in reading, mathematics, science, and social studies to Adult Education students pursuing a high school equivalency diploma through GED® testing; provide assessment and targeted instructional services to Academic Foundations students in Christian and Todd Counties; and support students in transitioning to postsecondary education, training, or careers. This position provides services at the HCC main campus, local jail and detention center facilities, and other designated locations as assigned. |
Job Duties: 1. Provide instruction for Adult Basic Education students in literacy, adult basic education, GED test preparation, English language acquisition, workforce preparation, and more. Assignment location may vary. |
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree (education or content-related field), and two years related experience or equivalent. |
