Credentials, Licenses & Certifications Professional Expert Requirements: •Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certification. •Current American Heart Association BLS Provider certification. • Additional AHA Instructor certifications (Heartsaver, ACLS, PALS, NRP). Certificated Teacher Requirements: •Professional expert requirements AND •Valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credential: Health Science and Medical Technology Preferred Qualifications: •Healthcare license or certification (Medical Assistant, EMT, LVN, RN, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, etc.), if applicable.
