Responsibilities
Fills Automated Dispensing System restocks for Facilities
Adds medications into the Automatic Dispensing System (ADS)
Analyzes and adjusts quantities for different facility ADS machines
Assist with trouble shooting ADS issues
Organize setting up and prefill new ADS machines
Prepacks medications
Handle medication into blister card foils
Maintain active communication with PIC, Lead and pharmacy staff
Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter)
Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
Replace potentially expiring inventory
Restock depleted inventory
Provide reports for the facility
Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required
Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)
Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred
Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems
Good organizational skills and detail oriented
Basic math and analytical skills
Ability to physically perform light lifting
Schedule:
8am-4:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays
