We are looking for a Senior Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Contractor to deliver hands‑on execution and operational support for personalization and journey‑orchestration initiatives. This role will immediately contribute to AJO build, configuration, and production delivery, with a strong focus on supporting live, customer‑facing journeys in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Build, configure, test, and publish AJO journeys, with an initial emphasis on email‑based experiences.
Author and manage messages, journey logic, schedules, quiet hours, throttling rules, and versioning workflows.
Perform QA and troubleshoot issues related to journey execution, message delivery, and data flows.
Partner closely with analytics, martech, and engineering teams to validate data readiness and ensure accurate audience usage.
Support day‑to‑day campaign operations, including production support and issue resolution.
Track intake, tasks, and delivery milestones using Workfront.
Maintain clear documentation for journeys, configurations, and operational decisions.
Provide reliable execution support to stabilize campaign delivery and reduce after‑hours escalations.
5+ years of experience working with MarTech or personalization platforms.
Strong, hands‑on production experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), including building and supporting journeys, messages, and delivery configurations.
Working knowledge of Workfront for intake, task management, and workflow tracking.
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and ability to operate independently in a deadline‑driven environment.
Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross‑functionally.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real‑Time CDP (RT‑CDP) concepts.
Experience supporting audience configuration, validation, and data‑readiness workflows.
Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
Consistent, on‑time delivery of AJO journeys with reduced escalations and improved operational stability.
High‑quality execution that strengthens personalization capabilities and minimizes production risk.
