We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Admissions Representative who is passionate about providing exceptional service and supporting our patients throughout their surgical journey.

    Schedule

    Full-Time | 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

    Monday through Friday | 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Register patients prior to surgery and verify demographic, insurance, and financial information.
    • Collect patient financial responsibilities and assist patients and families with related questions and processes.
    • Welcome, assist, and direct patients and visitors in a courteous, professional, and compassionate manner.
    • Review insurance information for accuracy and communicate any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
    • Obtain required registration and consent signatures, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
    • Operate a multi-line telephone system, accurately routing calls and messages.
    • Maintain the integrity of medical records through accurate data entry and verification of record completeness.
    • Manage health record indexes and retrieval systems used to collect, classify, store, and analyze patient information.
    • Scan and upload records into the electronic medical record (EMR) system according to department policies.
    • Release patient information to authorized individuals and agencies in accordance with applicable regulations.
    • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of patient health information.
    • Audit clinical records to ensure documentation meets organizational, regulatory, and quality standards.
    • Previous inpatient, outpatient, or hospital registration experience preferred.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within ninety (90) days of employment.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical record systems.
