Admissions Director
Come join us at Cabrini of Westchester! We are a 304-bed, Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility founded in 1974 in continuation of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini’s legacy of serving those in need through works of healing, teaching, caring and giving.
We are seeking to hire an Admissions Director to lead our admissions and marketing efforts.
- $100K to $110K annually based on skills and experience.
Admissions Director Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of admissions experience in a skilled nursing facility, subacute rehabilitation, or healthcare setting.
- Experience in healthcare marketing, business development, referral development, or public relations preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional and community relationships.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, HMO, and commercial insurance.
Admissions Director Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the overall operation of the Admissions department, as well as its programs and activities, in order to develop census goals while also maintaining compliance with current state and federal laws and regulations.
- Ensure communication between the business office and the admissions office.
- Plan, develop and implement an external and internal census sales strategy with each admissions team member to build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners/sources such as hospitals, physicians, senior centers, department of human resources, home health agencies, hospices, etc.
- Develop facility marketing materials for referral partners to clearly communicate the services and offerings of the facility.
- Identify opportunities with new referral partners/sources.
- Develop and implement a sales and admissions process that leads to the conversion of referrals to admission status.
- Establish the geographic territories for each external admissions sales team representative.
- Monitor referrals, admissions, census, payer mix, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate admissions and marketing reports and provide regular updates to administration and leadership.
