Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is currently seeking an Admissions Assistant to join our growing team!
Job Summary: Theprimary purpose of your job position is to assist the Admissions Director in meeting with prospective residents to assess their admission potential and to explain and initiate admission procedures, and other paperwork by which residents are identified, charged and prepared for admission to the facility. The Admissions Assistant assists in controlling, monitoring, admissions/readmissions, as well as the placement and transfer of residents to appropriate beds in the facility.
Pay Range: $16.02 - $18.02/hr. - Bi-weekly pay
Full-time position 8:00am - 430pm - (other hours as needed)

Responsibilities
- Provide tours of the facility and Inform residents and families of available services.
- Obtain necessary personal, social, medical, and financial information needed for admission.
- Maintain an analysis of those admitted to the facility, those that request information, walk-ins, respondents to direct mail campaigns, etc. that define our market share.
- Plan, organize, direct, and supervise incoming admissions and assignments.
- Maintain admission records and compile statistics and reports as needed.
- Maintain an awareness of admission and discharge regulatory changes.
- Attend meetings, in-services, conferences, etc. as required.
Qualifications
Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor’s degree in a related healthcare field preferred
Confirmed leadership and interpersonal skills as well as flexibility and while working within of a high standard of stress
You are passionate, ambitious, eager to improve and computer-literate
Valid Driver’s License
