Administrator, Systems Operator

Job responsibilities will include working with a team of technicians (client team) to troubleshoot and perform service and preventive maintenance on the customers'robot that they have developed. The contingent worker also may be required to push, pull, and lift objects;most of the time using carts or pallet jacks.

Duration:        0-3+ Months (Temp to Engage)
Shift:              8 AM to 5 PM (M-F)
 
Driving: Yes;some driving in the area required
Parking at the location is free.
Interview Process: There will be two sets of interviews. First with the manager. The second will be in person with the customer at their location. This interview will consist of meeting the customer and a skills assessment. The customer wants to assess candidates'hands-on capabilities.
 
Job Description:
This position will support a robotics company in the automotive field. Job responsibilities will include working with a team of technicians (client team) to troubleshoot and perform service and preventive maintenance on the customers'robot that they have developed. This will require hands-on work and regular use of a computer. It can be a physical job some days. This position may also require assisting in building and assembling parts to keep the robot operational.
Having hands-on electromechanical experience is a must and auto technician experience is a plus as well as computer skills. If they have robotics experience would be great. Having familiarity with Linux is a plus but not needed. Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostics of electromechanical systems is required.
Physical requirements may include standing for extended periods of time. The contingent worker also may be required to push, pull, and lift objects;most of the time using carts or pallet jacks
 
Other qualifications:

• Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Robotics, Mechanical or Electronics fields.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workloads.
• Ability to work independently.
• A degree of physical dexterity and must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
• Must be highly self-motivated, customer-centric, and focused to team success.
