    Administrator – M&E Building Services

    Location: Sevenoaks, Kent
    Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
    Employment Type: Full-time

    About the Role

    We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our team in Sevenoaks. Working for an established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Building Services provider, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration of our operations and ensuring our office and service activities run smoothly.

    This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has excellent attention to detail and is confident communicating with colleagues, clients and suppliers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinating and managing engineers' and management diaries and appointments
    • Scheduling site visits, planned works and reactive maintenance
    • Raising and processing Purchase Orders (POs)
    • Preparing and processing invoices and supporting the accounts process
    • Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and engineers
    • Updating internal systems, records and job information
    • Assisting with the administration of maintenance and building services contracts
    • Monitoring outstanding paperwork, purchase orders and invoices
    • Preparing reports, spreadsheets and general administrative documentation
    • Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
    • Supporting the wider operations team with day-to-day administrative tasks
    • Ensuring information is accurately recorded and communicated to the relevant teams
    • Providing general office support as required

    About You

    The successful candidate will be organised, reliable and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

    You will ideally have:

    • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or office-based role
    • Strong organisational and time-management skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
    • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • A professional and friendly approach when dealing with clients and suppliers
    • The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

    Experience within M&E, construction, facilities management, property or building services would be advantageous, although full industry training can be provided for the right candidate.

    The Package

    • Salary of £26,000 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
    • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
    • Full-time, permanent position
    • Office-based role in Sevenoaks
