The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections is seeking a strategic and experienced full-time Administrator, to lead the department's Administrative Services Division at our Headquarters at the State of Idaho's Chinden Campus.
This executive leadership position oversees financial services, procurement, continuous quality improvement, and acts as agency liaison to the state's Office of Information Technology Services (OITS). The Administrator serves as the department's chief financial officer, and serves as the primary financial advisor to agency leadership, and is responsible for managing the department's financial, compliance, and enterprise risk management activities. This position serves as a member of the department's executive leadership team and participates in strategic planning and policy setting for the department. This position reports directly to the Director of the agency, and exercises significant independent judgment in making decisions relative to administrative, risk management, compliance and oversight functions statewide.

Responsibilities:
Provides executive oversight of financial management, procurement, internal controls, compliance, and risk management programs, ensuring adherence to applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and executive orders.· Advises executive leadership on fiscal policy and financial strategy.· Leads development of long-term financial planning initiatives.· Evaluates organizational risks and recommends mitigation strategies.
Represents IDJC before legislative committees, budget stakeholders, and state partners as assigned.
Directs the development of the agency budget and all financial reporting.
Works with IDJC Leadership to identify and prioritize budget needs and capital improvements.
Develops and implements administrative goals, policies, and procedures and implements programs and service objectives to enhance operational effectiveness.
Works with Division of Financial Management, Legislative Services Office, and the State Controller's Office on a regular basis.
Provides risk management, operational and strategic oversight and direction for IDJC as the liaison to the Office of Information Technology Services (OITS).
Reports on administrative operations and special projects to IDJC Leadership, Idaho Juvenile Justice Commission and state and community partners.
