Transaction Processor Associate II
Location: East Hartford, CT 06108
Duration: 07/01/2026 – 09/30/2026
Pay Rate: $20.22/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week; M-F; 100% Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented and motivated Transaction Processor Associate II professionals to support high-volume transaction processing operations in a fast-paced office environment. Reporting to a Transaction Processing Supervisor, this role is responsible for researching, analyzing, and updating consumer information using various systems while maintaining exceptional standards for quality, productivity, and customer service.

Successful candidates will thrive in deadline-driven environments and demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process case maintenance transactions accurately and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Research, analyze, and update consumer information utilizing multiple systems and databases.

  • Evaluate and determine eligibility of medical expenses for designated medical programs.

  • Screen consumers by entering and validating information within eligibility determination systems.

  • Communicate effectively with clients through both verbal and written correspondence.

  • Meet or exceed established daily productivity standards.

  • Maintain quality performance standards as defined by the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), ensuring work is completed accurately and without errors.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of procedures, policies, and operating systems required to perform assigned duties.

  • Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks to meet contractual obligations.

  • Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality.

  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude while contributing to a collaborative work environment.

  • Adhere to all project site attendance and workplace policies.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred.

  • Previous experience in eligibility determination, transaction processing, claims processing, medical benefits administration, or similar administrative processing environments preferred.

  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision following initial training.
