Administrative Support Specialist
All Care is a Private Homecare provider licensed by the State of Georgia. We service seniors and adults with disabilities in private home settings.
Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks regarding filing and maintaining records. This position will assist the Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Nursing and Operations departments by ensuring all paperwork is current and properly maintained.
This is an hourly position.
Responsibilities:
Check incoming paperwork (correspondence, invoices etc.) and make copies before distributing
Sort all papers alphabetically and according to content, dates, significance etc.
Create or update records with new files and information
Store all paperwork in designated places securing the important documents
Enter paperwork into an electronic system either by data entry or by using optical scanners
Maintain electronic records of employee and client files
Deal with all requests to access files and keep logs of borrowed papers
Develop an efficient filing system to make updating and retrieving files easier
Follow policies and confidentiality dictations to safeguard data and information
Assist the Operations Department as directed
Assist Quality Assurance department as directed
Assist the Nursing Department as directed
Assist the Human Resources department as directed
Other duties as assigned
Key Selection Criteria:
Detail oriented individual with excellent oral and written communication skills
Organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Professional appearance and dress
Strong customer service ability
Two+ years of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or file clerk preferred
Ability to assist other office staff in clerical duties
Experienced MS Office (Word and Excel) software user
Ability to work independently
Salary commensurate with experience
