Clinical Skills Assessment and Education provides performance-based assessment and educational support for health sciences programs. Maintaining a highly trained simulation workforce and standardized patient cases to help medical, PA, nursing, and other students prepare for board certification and patient care.
Primary Purpose of Position
The Administrative Support Specialist is integral to the daily operations and support functions for the Department of Clinical Skills, providing support services for the Standardized Patient (SP) program. Reporting to the Business Services Coordinator, the position works with faculty, trainers, staff, and students to support the SP Program through event coordination, scheduling, onboarding, record and database management, data verification and reporting, and inventory management. The position also serves as a key point of communication, assisting with correspondence, information distribution, and day-to-day administrative needs.
