This is a general summary of the responsibilities associated with the position of Administrative Support Specialist III in support for the NIH, Laboratory Animal Research Contract (LARC), Task Order 6-NHLBI. This description is not all-inclusive of the duties required to successfully complete the job daily. It is intended to reflect FEFA’s contractual obligations. Employees are expected to complete all assigned duties each day as directed by management.
Compensation: $30 - $31.50 hourly
Responsibilities of this position are that of an Administrative Support Specialist III. These responsibilities include administrative activities required for the NHLBI Animal Program, maintenance of on-site animals, equipment and facilities.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Unless otherwise directed by a manager, all employees are expected to perform their duties as assigned, arrive to work at 7:00am and depart at 3:30pm. (Monday through Friday). Employees are expected to be familiar with the day-to-day activities, personnel and daily schedules within the facilities. FEFA expects each of our employees to be forward thinking and to create and assist in quality performance and contract requirements. The Administrative Support Specialist III will assist in the efficient allocation of contract resources and maintain an effective, professional relationship with both FEFA and Government staff.

Employees appointed to the position of Administrative Support Specialist III must meet the following standards prior to appointment:
Education:
A minimum of a High School Diploma required and 2 years of related administrative support experience. College degree preferred.
Experience:
Must have experience with using Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
