JOB OVERVIEW
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the office and provides high-level support to the senior staff by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
The Administrative Assistant reports to the President and participates with the other members of the administration team to chart the direction of the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Answers and directs calls to the correct location
Welcomes and directs visitors and clients
Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the President and Vice President and/or other leadership staff
Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff
Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping
Retrieves information as requested from records, emails, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed
Other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in a related field is preferred.
1-3 years of administrative assistant experience
Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS software
Positive attitude along with a willingness to learn
Ability to quickly adapt to change
Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills
A passion for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

You must also display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as you will interact with a variety of clients, and staff in addition to external visitors.
