The Opportunity:

We are seeking a well-qualified, and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Administrative Services Manager I in the Administrative Operations Division with the Contracts and Compliance Section.

Essential Job Functions

Examples of duties include but are not limited to the following:

Manages all components involved in contract compliance and contract monitoring which includes conducting complex and time sensitive research, compiling, reviewing and gathering multiple types of information and data to actively monitor deliverables and assignments to ensure they are addressed timely before issues are created, and makes recommendations to management about the most appropriate action to take against non-compliant contractors/vendors.

Will conduct Risk Assessments which involves reviewing insurance policies, past performance history, County systems like CARD, and other supporting documentation to identify any risks or liabilities from each contractor seeking to do business with the County.

Will conduct internal audits of contractors to ensure all contractual services are delivered and are compliant with the agreed upon terms and conditions, state, federal and County policies.

Prepares a variety of documents often highly sensitive in nature like Non-Compliance Notices, Corrective Action Plan requests, Audit Plans, Annual Audit Summaries, Audit Reports, Audit Findings, questionnaires, etc. for the review and approval of Management.

Communicates with multiple parties including other County departments, vendors/contractors, partner agencies,

stakeholders, and outside agencies to ensure high-priority items are completed within the required timelines within

the contract monitoring and compliance process.

Participates in meetings often with high level management, makes presentations, conducts training about the monitoring and compliance process, and resolves conflicts between contractors/vendors and the Department.

Evaluates the effectiveness of various processes and systems by comparing them to outcomes or goals and makes

recommendations about how to improve or change them.
