Shift

Monday through Friday. Hours may vary (can be 7:00am- 4:00pm or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm). This position is offering a hybrid schedule.

Job Summary

The Administrative Services Assistant position, under the direct supervision of the subspecialty Program Directors and Course Directors and in consultation and regular collaboration with the Vice Chair of Education and Department Administrator or their designee, is responsible for managing the daily administrative activities for undergraduate medical education (UME) and non-ACGME educational programs as well as professional responsibilities for all the program's trainees daily. The position serves as the primary liaison between the course directors, non-ACGME fellowship program directors, medical students, residents, fellows, program faculty, and affiliated teaching sites concerning medical student and non-ACGME fellowship program matters.

In addition, this role will facilitate communications regarding recruitment of non-ACGME fellows and provide aide for education assessment and clinical innovation development for UME. Further, the Health Education Coordinator must maintain program compliance in relation to LCME and Specialty Board requirements.

  • This position will have a hybrid schedule to allow both remote and on campus work.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

Experience in a complex administrative role. Knowledge of UME/GME preferred. Exceptional communication, time management, and technical skills preferred. TAGME certification if available is strongly preferred.
